We take on the cost of dental care.
It Starts With A Smile helps neurodivergent and disabled patients access specialized dental care that can be difficult to find or afford. We connect patients with compassionate dentists who can provide the care they need and help cover treatment costs. Because everyone deserves to live free from dental pain.
This kind of treatment can cost a family up to $20,000. We exist to remove this barrier.
It Starts With A Smile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How it works
Individuals or families apply. We bring the case to a participating dentist experienced with patients who may need sedation. If the dentist accepts, treatment happens in their own office with an anesthesiologist (if needed) providing sedation safely. We pay the doctors directly.
